Site Settings

The Sites editor of the Xenial Portal is used to manage company site information including the site name, address, associated users, and service subscriptions of each site.

To open the Sites editor:

  1. From the right navigation menu, select Xenial Home.

  2. From the left navigation menu, select Sites.

    Existing sites are listed on the homepage. The following information is provided for each site.

    Column Name

    Description

    Site ID

    The identification code for the site

    Site Name

    The name of the site

    Address

    The address where the site is located

    Tags

    Custom attributes or labels assigned to sites for grouping and filtering

    Status

    Indicates the online/offline status of terminals at the site and any error notifications (See View Terminal Status at Xenial Sites for more information)

Additional Options

  • In the upper-right of the sites list, select the vertical blue ellipsis to add these details: Phone and POS Version.

  • To search for a specific site, type the search criteria into the Search field located above the site list. Valid search criteria includes: Site Number, Site Name, Address, Phone, Email.

  • To sort the list by specific criteria, select the column heading of the site list. For example, to sort the list by site ID in ascending/descending order, select the Site ID column heading.

  • From the Hierarchy dropdown, select a site hierarchy to apply to the sites list.

Filter the Xenial Site List

The homepage of the Sites editor lists all company sites by default. Apply filters and sort the sites list to view and quickly locate specific sites.

Filter each column (except Status) by one or more specific values. To filter the site list:

  1. From the Sites homepage, locate the column to filter. 

  2. Under the column header, select All. A popup window displays the available values for the column.

  3. Select the values to filter.

  4. Select Apply. The site list is filtered to only include sites that match the selected value(s).

Clear Site List Filters

To clear site list filters, select Clear Filters located in the upper-left of the site list.

The Clear Filters function:

  • Removes all applied filters, search results, and column sorting from the site list.

  • Restores the defined site hierarchy to the site list.

Define a Custom View for the Sites List

The homepage of the Sites editor lists all company sites by default. Apply filters and sort the sites list to view and quickly locate specific sites.

Save a set of applied filters and sort settings as a custom view. Select the custom view to quickly apply its filters and settings to the sites list.

To save a custom view:

  1. Filter the Xenial Site List

  2. From the menu bar above the sites list, select View.

  3. In the Save as New View field, type a name for the current view.

  4. Select Save.

The view is saved. Access saved views from the View dropdown menu.

Note

Custom views are not accessible to other users.

To revert the site list to its default settings, select Default View from the View dropdown menu.

Open a Custom View

To open a custom view:

  1. From the menu bar above the sites list, select View.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select the desired view.

Delete a Custom View

To delete a custom view:

  1. From the menu bar above the sites list, select View.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select the trash can icon next to the view name.

  3. Select Yes when prompted to confirm the deletion.
